Casting has been announced for Bethesda Theatre's production of Smokey Joe's Café - The Songs of Leiber and Stoller, directed by Chet Walker, April 3-May 11. The cast will include John Ashley Brown, Jennifer Byrne, Teren Carter, Emilee Dupré, Alexander Elisa, Miles Johnson, Erich McMillan-McCall, Jasmin Walker, and Aurelia Williams.
Winner of the Grammy Award for Best Musical and nominated for seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Director, and Best Choreography, Smokey Joe's Café includes 38 of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller's songs, including "Hound Dog," "Love Potion #9," "Stand By Me," "Jailhouse Rock," and "On Broadway."
