Full casting has been announced for Manhattan Theatre Club's production of Liz Flahive's From Up Here, to begin performances on March 27, with an official opening on April 16. This production, which is presented in association with Ars Nova, will be directed by Leigh Silverman.
The play concerns high school senior Kenny Barrett, who needs to apologize to his entire school for something he did. Flahive is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts Department of Dramatic Writing. Her plays have been produced, workshopped or read at NYU, Williamstown Theater Festival, Naked Angels, and Ars Nova.
In addition to the previously announced Julie White (Grace Warren), Aya Cash (Lauren Barrett), Will Rogers (Charlie), and Joel Van Liew (Mr Goldberger/Stevens), the cast will include Jenni Barber (Kate), Arija Bareikis (Caroline), Brian Hutchison (Daniel Warren), and Tobias Segal (Kenny Barrett).
The creative team will feature Allen Moyer (sets), Mattie Ulrich (costumes), and Pat Collins (lighting).
