Last night, the Roundabout Theatre Company opened its presentation of the Menier Chocolate Factory's revival of Sunday in the Park with George, to nearly unanimous raves. Here's director Sam Buntrock with his two stars Jenna Russell and Daniel Evans, who won Olivier Awards for their performances as Dot/Marie and George, respectively.

The Broadway cast of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical also includes Jessica Molaskey and Michael Cumpsty, who portray married couple Yvonne and Jules, who is George's friend and rival painter.

Alexander Gemignani delivers a memorable performance as the Boatman in the first act, and Dennis in the second.

Boyd Gaines also appeared in the Roundabout's Company, and will be starring in the upcoming Broadway revival of the the Jule Styne-Stephen Sondheim-Arthur Laurents musical, Gypsy.
