Tim Minchin to Play New World Stages in March

Tim Minchin, winner of the 2007 "Best Alternative Comedian" Award at the Aspen Comedy Festival, will perform his dark, piano driven, pop-comedic cabaret stylings at the New World Stages from March 3-April 12, with an opening set for March 5.

The Australian-born Minchin launched onto the world comedy scene in 2005 with Darkside, which won the Perrier Comedy Award for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. His second show So Rock, earned both the Most Outstanding Show and the Festival Directors Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
