Andrew Lippa to Debut New Piece at Free Synagogue Concert

Composer Andrew Lippa will present a new piece of Jewish music at Our Tradition, Our Torah, Our Future, a free concert at 7pm on Sunday, February 10 at the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue (30 West 68th Street). The concert, which will also feature a host of professional singers and musicians, is open to everyone.

Lippa is best known as the composer-lyricist of The Wild Party, which is currently being revived by the Gallery Players in Brooklyn. His other work includes A Little Princess, Asphalt Beach, and the music for the Broadway play The Farnsworth Invention, along with songs written for such performers as Kristin Chenoweth and Julia Murney.
