The Berkeley Repertory Theatre will present the U.S. premiere of Will Eno's TRAGEDY: a tragedy, March 14 -April 13. The production, which will open officially on March 19, will be directed by Les Waters.

In TRAGEDY: a tragedy the sun, despite its shining record, has finally set and reporters descend in a flurry of questions and commentary, while the governor urges calm. Eno's other works include the award winning Thom Pain, as well as Intermission, Oh the Humanity! and other good intentions, and The Flu Season.

The cast for this production will include David Cromwell (Frank), Max Gordon Moore (Michael), Thomas Jay Ryan (John), Marguerite Stimpson (Constance), and Danny Wolohan (The Witness).

The creative team will include Cliff Caruthers (sound design), Antje Ellermann (set design), Matt Frey (lighting design), and Meg Neville (costume design). Waters is in his fifth year as associate artistic director of Berkeley Rep.
