Full cast and creative team information has been announced for Levy Lee Simon's The Guest at Central Park West, to be presented by WorkShop Theater Company February 20-March 15. The production, which will open officially on February 25, will be directed Thomas Cote.

In the play, an African-American professor celebrates being awarded the Nobel Prize with his family and colleagues. But the arrival of a homeless drifter exposes a different side to the peace-loving host, and forever alters the future of all of the guests. 2007 Audelco Awards were given to the play, playwright, and lead actor John Marshall Jones.

The cast will feature Jones, Harvy Blanks, Curt Bouril, Jed Dickson, Erinn Holmes, Trish McCall, and Tracy Newirth. The design team will include Craig Napoliello (sets), Evan Purcell (lighting), and Joanie Schumacher (costumes).

Simon's previous plays include The Stuttering Preacher, Christophe - the Spirit - Passion and Glory, Dessalines - the Heart - Blood and Liberation, and Toussaint -- the Soul -- Rise and Revolution. Cote's directing credits include The Devil and Billy Markham, The Jazz Age, and Raisins Not Virgins.
