(© Joseph Marzullo/Retna) | The complete cast has been announced for Broadway Backwards 3, to be held at the American Airlines Theatre on Monday, February 4.
Seth Rudetsky will host this gender-bending concert, which will feature a diverse cast of male singers performing songs traditionally performed by female singers, and vice versa, with all proceeds benefiting the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) Community Center in New York City.
The concert will feature Sy Adamowsky, Brooks Ashmanskas, Michele Blakely, Gary Beach, Danny Beiruti, Sierra Boggess, Tituss Burgess, David Burtka, Charles Busch, Kerry Butler, Len Cariou, Liz Callaway, Jenn Colella, Lilli Cooper, Gavin Creel, Sandy Duncan, Nancy Dussault, Malcolm Gets, Jessica Lee Goldyn, Julie Halston, Ann Harada, Neil Patrick Harris, Cheyenne Jackson, Kathryn Kendall, Lainie Kazan, Aaron Lazar, Charis Leos, Jose Llana, Karen Mason, Lea Michele, Julia Murney, Eryn Murman, Anthony Rapp, Phoebe Strole, Tastiskank (Kate Reinders and Sarah Litzsinger), Jenna Ushkowitz, Tony Yazbeck, and Remy Zaken.
The show is created and directed by Robert Bartley, with musical direction by Mark Janas. John Kander and Terrence McNally will serve as event co-chairs. The program will be followed by an after-party at the theater, open to major donors.
