Nancy Anderson, Marcus Neville, and Robert Petkoff will star in the Propsect Theatre Company's production of the new musical The Blue Flower, at the West End Theatre, February 2-March 2. The show, which features music, lyrics, script, and videography by Jim Bauer, and artwork, story, and videography by Ruth Bauer, will be directed and choreographed by Will Pomerantz.
Previously seen at NYMF, The Blue Flower follows the lives of four friends and lovers, from pre-war Paris to the battlefields of WWI, the Weimar Republic, 1950's New York, and the present day.
The cast will also include Jason Collins, Jamie LaVerdiere, Meghan McGeary, and Eric Starker. The creative team will include Nick Francone (sets), Sidney Shannon (costumes), Cory Pattak (lights), Jeffrey Yoshi Lee (sound), and Mark Rubinstein (music direction). Pomerantz's prior directing credits include Dai, A Hard Heart, and Rebel Voices.
Anderson has starred on Broadway in A Class Act and Wonderful Town, and recently appeared in the Gallery Players' production of Yank! Neville's Broadway credits include The Full Monty and City of Angels and he previously appeared with Prospect in Iron Curtain. Petkoff's Main Stem credits include Fiddler on the Roof and Epic Proportions.
