(© Joseph Marzullo/Retna) | Sir Tom Stoppard will speak about his new play Rock n' Roll at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theatre at 10am on Sunday, January 5. The panel discussion, to be moderated by artistic director Carey Perloff, is part of the theater's Koret Visiting Artists Series.
Stoppard's plays also include The Coast of Utopia, The Real Thing, Arcadia, Jumpers, Hapgood, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. A.C.T. has given Stoppard's work six productions, including The Invention of Love, Travesties, and Indian Ink.
Rock n' Roll, which premiered in London, is currently on stage on Broadway's Bernard B. Jacobs Theater, with a cast headed by Rufus Sewell, Brian Cox, Sinead Cusack, Alice Eve, and Nicole Ansari.
