Clarkson, Frechette, Rapp, et al. to Star in Raised in Captivity Reading

Lesley Ayvazian, Patricia Clarkson, Peter Frechette, Brian Kerwin, and Anthony Rapp will star in the Vineyard Theatre's reading of Nicky Silver's hit 1994 play Raised in Captivity, at 7pm on Monday, December 3 at the Laura Pels Theatre. The reading will be directed by David Warren, who helmed the show's original Vineyard production featuring the same cast.

The play, a dark comedy, concerns two estranged siblings who reunite at their mother's funeral. Silver's other work includes The Food Chain, Pterodactyls, and Beautiful Child.

The Vineyard is currently presenting Julia Cho's The Piano Teacher, starring Elizabeth Franz and directed by Kate Whoriskey. On November 11 and 12, original stars Terri Klausner and Ann Morrison will reunite for a reading of Goblin Market, the musical by Polly Pen and Peggy Harmon that played there in 1985.
