Michele Pawk Will Be Hairspray's New Velma on August 21

Pawk won the Tony as Best Featured Actress in a Play for her work in Hollywood Arms. Her many other New York credits include The Dark at the Top of the Stairs, Mamma Mia!, Losing Louie, Cabaret, The Paris Letter, and A Little Night Music.

The Broadway cast includes Paul Vogt as Edna, Shannon Durig as Tracy, Alexa Vega as Penny, Jerry Mathers as Wilbur, Ashley Parker Angel as Link Larkin, Tevin Campbell as Seaweed, Lance Bass as Corny Collins, Ashley Spencer as Amber Von Tussle, and Darlene Love as Motormouth Maybelle. The show officially celebrated its fifth anniversary on Broadway on August 15.
