Sir Kenneth Branagh's film version of William Shakespeare's As You Like It, re-set in 19th-century Japan, will begin airing on HBO on Tuesday, August 21.
The film's principal cast includes Bryce Dallas Howard as Rosalind, David Oyewolo as Orlando, Romolai Garai as Celia, Kevin Kline as Jaques, Alfred Molina as Touchstone, Janet McTeer as Audrey, Brian Blessed as Duke Senior/Duke Frederick, Adrian Lester as Oliver, Richard Briers as Adam, Jade Jeffries as Phoebe, Alex Wyndham as Sylvius, and Jimmy Yuill as Corin.
Branagh has previously starred in and directed film adaptations of Shakespeare's Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing, Henry V and Love's Labor Lost, as well as played Iago in Oliver Parker's film adaptation of Othello. He has won the Olivier Award, among other honors, for his stage work in London, which includes Another Country and Edmond.
