Last night, the musical Xanadu skated into Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre to enthusiastic reviews. Here, at the show's after-party at Providence, is leading lady Kerry Butler, who earned raves for her portrayal of Greek muse Kira.

James Carpinello, the show's original Sonny, hopes to return to the musical once his leg heals. He was injured while skating in one of the musical's rehearsals.

Adding even more excitement to the evening was the presence of singer-actress Olivia Newton-John, who played Kira in the 1980 film version of Xanadu, and John Farrar, one of the composers of the show's ultra-catchy score.
