(© Joan Marcus) | Casting has been announced for the Chicago engagement of Jersey Boys, the Tony Award-winning musical about the pop group The Four Seasons, which will play the LaSalle Bank Theatre, October 6-April 13.
The production will star Drew Gehling as Bob Gaudio, Michael Ingersoll as Nick Massi, Jeremy Kushnier as Tommy DeVito and Jarrod Spector as Frankie Valli; all of whom have played the roles in either the show's Los Angeles or San Francisco productions.
The ensemble includes Lyndsey Cole, John Michael Coppola, John Michael Dias, Mike Erickson, Steven M. Goldsmith, John Hickman, Lauren Marshall, Wade McCollum, Rashad Naylor, Jenny Lee Ramos, Jake Speck, Kara Tremel, Ryan Quinn West, Eddie Driscoll, and Craig Laurie.
The production is directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff; it is written by Academy Award-winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and choreography by Sergio Trujillo. The design and production team comprises Klara Zieglerova (sets), Jess Goldstein (costumes), Howell Binkley (lighting), Steve Canyon Kennedy (sound), Michael Clark (projections), Steve Orich (orchestrations), and Ron Melrose (musical direction).
