Olivier Award winner Patricia Hodge will take over the role of Bertha in the hit West End revisal of Mark Camoletti's Boeing-Boeing at the Comedy Theatre on April 30. The production, which is directed by Matthew Warchus, stars Roger Allam, Mark Rylance, Daisy Beaumont, and Michelle Gomez.

The play concerns Bernard, a successful architect living in Paris, who manages to conduct simultaneous romances with three airline hostesses, helped by his trusty housekeeper. However, the arrival of an old friend and changes in airline schedules lead to unexpected complications.

Hodge won the Olivier for her performance in Money. Her many other stage credits include Noises Off, The Clean House, His Dark Materials, and Heartbreak House, while her film and television credits include Betrayal, Rumpole of the Bailey, and Jemima Shore Investigates.

The show's creative team include Rob Howell (sets and costumes), Hugh Vanstone (lighting). Simon Baker (sound), and Claire van Kampen (original music). Warchus' credits include the Broadway productions of True West, Art, Life x 3, and Follies, and London productions of Endgame and Hamlet.
