Rebecca Harris to Replace Rachel Dratch in Westport's Scramble!

Rebecca Harris will take over for previously announced star Rachel Dratch in Westport Country Playhouse's production of David Wiltse's Scramble!, July 9-26. Tracy Brigden will direct. Dratch withdrew from the production to begin filming Nia Vardalos' I Hate Valentine's Day.

Scramble! is an office comedy is set in the world of a golf magazine. As previously announced, the cast will also feature Tom Beckett, Candy Buckley, Colin McPhillamy, Jennifer Mudge, and Matthew Rauch. Harris has appeared in off-Broadway and regional theatre productions and in the film How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

The design team will include Jeff Cowie (sets), Ilona Somogyi (costumes), Ben Stanton (lighting), and Eric Shim (sound).

Wiltse is Westport Country Playhouse's playwright-in-residence. He received a Drama Desk Award for "Most Promising Playwright" for his first- produced play, Suggs, and additional works include Doubles, Triangles for Two, The Good German, Sedition, A Marriage Minuet, and Temporary Help.
