WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Albano Ballet production of The Nutcracker is a holiday favorite at Mohegan Sun, thrilling audiences old, young, and in-between. This year's edition boasts new scenic work by Bob Moody, one of America's foremost theatrical designers. A live orchestra plays Tchaikovsky's immortal score. The company of dancers will be lead by Kerryann Saunders and Argentina's rising ballet star Sebastian Scolari. Saunders has danced with the Albano company for six seasons. Scolari makes his debut with an athletic dancing style marked by breathtaking leaps. Choreography and costumes are by Joseph Albano, with the assistance of Julia Frederick.
