WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Stamford Center for the Arts presents George Balanchine's The Nutcracker. This production features lavish costumes, luscious sets, the 'growing' Christmas tree, a flying sleigh, the splendid Balanchine choreography and Tchaikovsky's immortal music masterpiece performed Live by the Stamford Symphony Orchestra plus pre-professional dancers from the School of American Ballet and over 80 children from tri-state area dance studios.
