Under the baton of its renowned Music Director Gustav Meier, Greater Bridgeport Symphony performs Rossini's irresistible La Scala di Seta Overture and Listz's best-known and most popular tone poem Les Preludes.

The highlight of the concert will be the returned engagement of the exceptionally gifted guest artist Anita Chen, who will perform two tour de force pieces on violin and piano: Mozart Violin Concerto no. 5, K. 219 in A ("The Turkish Concerto") and Listz's virtuosic Totentanz, a Symphonic Poem for Orchestra and Piano, also known as "The Dance of the Dead."
