Harolyn Blackwell, Kevin Gray, et al. Set for Hartt School Gala

Broadway veterans Harolyn Blackwell and Kevin Gray will be among the performers at Hartt Celebrates Its Future, a fundraising gala for The Hartt School, to take place at the Hartford Marriott Downtown on Saturday, October 15.

The entertainment will also feature jazz vocalist Shawnn Monteiro, Maestro Edward Cumming, and the Hartt Symphony Orchestra.

Blackwell’s Broadway credits include Candide and West Side Story, and she has appeared in several productions at the Metropolitan Opera. Gray’s Broadway credits include Jesus Christ Superstar, The King and I, Chu Chem, and The Phantom of the Opera.

The Hartt School is the comprehensive performing arts conservatory of the University of Hartford that offers innovative degree programs in music, dance, and theatre.
