Goodspeed Musicals has announced that Julie Andrews will present Tony-, Emmy-, and Academy Award-winning designer Tony Walton with an Award for Outstanding Contribution to Musical Theatre at the theater's annual Razzle Dazzle gala on June 6. As previously announced, the event will be held at The Riverhouse in Haddam, Connecticut.

Andrews is Walton's ex-wife and longtime friend and collaborator. The pair worked together at Goodspeed on both The Boy Friend at the Goodspeed Opera House in 2005 and The Great American Mousical at the Norma Terris Theatre in 2012.

Noah Racey, who performed at the Goodspeed Opera House in Where’s Charley? and Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn, will serve as the evening's master of ceremonies. The event will include a cocktail hour and dinner, followed by a live auction and entertainment by Broadway performers, celebrating Walton's distinguished career.

A 16-time Tony nominee for his set and costume design, Walton had earned awards for his work on Broadway productions of Pippin, The House of Blue Leaves, and Guys and Dolls. His film work also includes Walt Disney's Mary Poppins, Ken Russell's The Boy Friend, Sidney Lumet's The Wiz, and Murder on the Orient Express, which together earned him five Academy Award nominations. He also earned an Oscar for Bob Fosse's All That Jazz and an Emmy for Volcker Schlondorf's Death of a Salesman.
