Two-time Tony winner Chita Rivera (The Visit) is set to take the stage at the Ridgefield Playhouse on November 20 in Chita: A Legendary Celebration.

The one-night event will include hits from Rivera's 65-year career, including numbers from West Side Story, Sweet Charity, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Bye, Bye Birdie, and more, plus additional favorites by Leonard Bernstein, Charles Strouse, Jerry Herman, and Stephen Sondheim. The show will also feature a special tribute to John Kander and Fred Ebb. In addition, the concert will be preceded by a free wine tasting in the lobby of the Playhouse at 6:15pm, courtesy of the Wine Group/Benziger Family Winery.

Rivera's Ridgefield Playhouse appearance will come on the heels of her previously announced Carnegie Hall solo debut on November 7.

Chita Rivera has won two Tony Awards for Best Leading Actress in a Musical and received eight additional Tony nominations. She recently starred in Broadway's The Visit, the final John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Terrence McNally collaboration. Rivera was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama in 2009 and received the Kennedy Center Honor in 2002.
