New York's Signature Theatre and Westport Country Playhouse will coproduce the world premiere of A.R. Gurney's Love and Money during both companys' 2015-16 seasons.

Directed by Mark Lamos, the play will be presented by Westport Country Playhouse from July 21-August 8, 2015, before transferring to Signature Theatre later that August. Gurney's The Wayside Motor Inn is currently playing an extended run at Signature Theatre's Pershing Square Signature Center through October 5. His two-person play Love Letters is now running at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre as well, with Brian Dennehy and Mia Farrow starring.

Love and Money follows wealthy widow Cornelia Cunningham, who is determined to donate almost everything she owns before the end. Cornelia’s plans, however, are questioned when an ambitious and ingratiating young man, who may be the grandson she never knew she had, arrives to claim his inheritance.

The cast and creative team for the world premiere production will be announced at a later date.
