Ted Chapin, Tom Kitt, David Stone, et al. to Appear at Goodspeed’s Festival of New Artists

The Goodspeed Opera Opera House will host its 5th Annual Festival of New Artists at the Max Showalter Center for Education in Musical Theatre, January 15-17. The event is open to the public.

The Festival will feature staged readings of three new musicals: Hello Out There by Eric Price and Frank Terry (January 15), Rewrite by Joe Iconis (January 16), and Lincoln in Love by Peter Kellogg and David Friedman (January 17).

On January 16, there will also be a presentation by muscial historian John Pike, author Ted Chapin, and producer Sue Frost, as well as a symposium on the creation of the musical Next to Normal with producer David Stone and composer Tom Kitt.
