Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Long Wharf Premiere of Athol Fugard’s Coming Home

Colman Domingo, Mel Eichler, Lou Ferguson, Roslyn Ruff, and Namunba Santos will star in the world premiere of Athol Fugard’s Coming Home, to play New Haven’s Long Wharf Theatre, January 14-February 8. The production will be directed by Gordon Edelstein.

The work focuses on Veronica Jenkers, a young woman who returns to her home town in South Africa after the death of her grandfather and strives to begin a new life with her son. Fugard’s many plays include Boesman and Lena, Sizwe Banzi Is Dead, Master Harold…and the Boys, <>Valley Song, and Exits and Entrances.

The creative includes Eugene Lee (sets), Jessica Ford (costumes), Stephen Strawbridge (lighting), and Corrine Livingston (sound). Edelstein is the company’s artistic director and will also helm the company’s upcoming production of The Glass Menagerie.
