Joanne Woodward and James Naughton to Headline Westport’s A Holiday Garland

Joanne Woodward and James Naughton will headline the Westport Country Playhouse’s production of A Holiday Garland, to run December 13-21. The show, which features songs, funny stories, readings, jokes, and poems to celebrate the season, is devised by Eileen Atkins and John Tillinger, and will be directed by Tillinger. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

Woodward is the company’s co-artistic director. She won the Academy Award for The Three Faces of Eve and the Golden Globe Award for Breathing Lessons. Her stage acting credits include Arsenic and Old Lace, The Glass Menagerie, and Hay Fever. Naughton won Tony Awards for his work in Chicago and City of Angels, and is currently appearing Off-Broadway in the Irish Repertory Theatre’s production of The Master Builder.
