Anderman, Lewis-Evans, Mulgrew Join Hartford Stages’ Brand: New Festival; Full Cast Set for A Christmas Carol

Hartford Stage has announced additional participants for its Brand: NEW Festival of readings, November 6-11, as well as full casting for Michael Wilson’s production of A Christmas Carol, November 28-December 28.

The festival will include readings of Quiara Hudes’ Elliot: A Soldier’s Fugue, Christopher Shinn’s political drama Now or Later, Michael Elaynow’s The Children, Elizabeth Eggloff’s biodrama The Ether Dome, Daniel Beaty’s Breath and Imagination: The Story of Roland Hayes, Regina Taylor’s Rain, Craig Wright’s Mistakes Were Made, 10/10/10, a group of 10 ten-minute plays by leading writers, including Edward Albee and Theresa Rebeck, and Write-On!, which will feature plays by winners of the company’s teen playwriting competition. Participating performers in the festival will include Maureen Anderman, Kecia Lewis-Evans, and Kate Mulgrew.

A Christmas Carol will star Alan Rust as Ebenezer Scrooge. The cast will also feature Bill Kux, Robert Hannon Davis, David Andrew Macdonald, Kyle Metzger, Noble Shropshire, Gus Johnson, Johanna Morrison, Deirdre Garrett, Duane Martin Foster, Curtis Billings, Rob Cunliffe, Natalie Brown, Veronique Hurley, Ellenkate Finley, Amanda Karmelin, Kurt Peterson, Aidian Fio Rito, Daniel Toot, Michelle Hendrick, Duane Martin Foster, Rebecka Jones, Sarah Goosman, James DiMatteo, Paul Frazee, Erika Klics, Brendan Fitzgerald, Jachrys Dalton, Caitlin Becker, Grace Gentil, Conner Fitzgerald, Jordan Cyr, Alexandre Hart, Summer Raign Martin, Kristen Fitzpatrick, Karmen Renee, Andrew Shipman, Thomas Beebe, Alisha Kapur, Joy DelValle, Josie Kulp, Nora Holland, Hollis Long, Abigail McMillan, Miles Wilson-Toliver, Jacob Entenman, Zachary Cyr, Andrew Holland, Abbi Rice, Trisha Kapur, Michael Griffin, Zachary Zavalick, Rachael Dalton, and Stephanie Mailhot.
