Carson Elrod, James Waterston, Paxton Whitehead, et al. Set for Bedroom Farce Reading in CT

Westport Country Playhouse has announced preliminary casting for a staged reading of Alan Ayckbourn’s Bedroom Farce, to be offered on October 4 at 7pm as part of the theater’s Script in Hand Series. Anne Keefe will direct the performance.

The play unfolds in three couples’ separate bedrooms over the course of a tumultuous Saturday night. The company will feature Geneva Carr, Carson Elrod, Cecilia Hart, Mark Shanahan, Karen Walsh, James Waterston, and Paxton Whitehead. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

In related news, the theater has announced that Noel Coward’s A Song at Twilight will also be offered as part of the series, on November 15 at 7pm.
