The play, commissioned by Playwrights Horizons and developed by Steppenwolf Theatre Company, is described as "a touching and funny--and very modern--tale of parents, children, and the gulf that sometimes exists between them." It will run August 20-September 7, 2013.

The Playhouse season will also include A.R. Gurney's The Dining Room (April 30-May 18), directed by artistic director Mark Lamos, followed by George Kelly's The Show-Off (June 11-29), directed by Nicholas Martin. The season will continue with Joe Orton's farce Loot (July 16-August 3), directed by David Kennedy. Rounding out the season will be John Murray and Allen Boretz's Room Service (October 8-26), directed by Lamos.
