Amidst the cluttered shelves of a family-owned general store in a small Black town that doesn't appear on any map, four lost souls reunite. Partnerships dissolve, alliances shift, and romances ignite as a tragic accident unleashes the town's mysterious history.

Landau is a writer and director and an ensemble member at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, where her directing credits include Hot L Baltimore, The Brother/Sister Plays, and Superior Donuts. She also directed the Broadway productions of Superior Donuts and the 2001 revival of Bells Are Ringing.
