TheaterWorks Announces 2011-2012 Season

TheaterWorks, located in downtown Hartford, has announced the line-up for its 2011-2012 season, which will open with the American regional theater premiere of Stephen Adly Guirgis’ recent Tony-nominated Broadway hit, The Motherf—-r With the Hat, to run October 14-December 4. Tazewell Thompson will direct.

The season will continue with The Sty of the Blind Pig, by Philip Hayes Dean, also directed by Thompson (January 20-February 26); John Logan’s Tony Award-winning play Red, directed by Thompson (March 23-May 13); Donald Margulies’ Time Stands Still, directed by Rob Ruggiero (June 1-July 15); and Neil LaBute’s Reasons to Be Pretty, also directed by Ruggiero (August 10-September 30).
