On January 28, Broadway producer Van Dean (Cinderella) gathered over 150 Broadway actors and musicians in Waterbury, CT’s Palace Theater to perform in From Broadway With Love: A Benefit for Sandy Hook. Last week, it was announced that this concert, featuring stars such as Tony nominee Richard Kind (The Big Knife), Tony nominee Robin De Jesús (La Cage aux Folles), and Hairspray film star Nikki Blonsky, will be aired on regional public television stations beginning this month.

The concert will premiere July 18 at 10pm on Long Island’s WLIW21, followed by airings on New York City’s Channel 13 and Connecticut Public Television on Friday, July 26 at 10pm.
In addition to its professional guests, the benefit also includes performances by over 300 students from various Newtown dance groups, third and fourth graders from Sandy Hook Elementary, and the Newtown High School Chamber Choir.
