Michael Laurence to Star in Hartford Stage’s The Crucible

Broadway veteran Michael Laurence will play John Proctor in Hartford Stage’s production of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, to run September 1-25. The production will be directed by Gordon Edelstein.

The cast will also feature Sam Tsoutsouvas, Rachel Mewbron, Kate Forbes, Tom Beckett, Annette Hunt, Richmond Hoxie, Rebecca Jones, Keira Keeley, Brent Langdon, Ron Crawford, Jeff Biehl, Curtis Billings, J.M. Kornfeld, Zakiah Barksdale, Lars Lee, Lilli Jacobs, Eileen Conneely, Erin Fitzpatrick, William Macke, Elise Murphy, Courtney Rada, and Kristina Wilson.

Laurence has appeared on Broadway in Desire Under the Elms and Talk Radio. His many other New York credits include Krapp 39, The Diary of a Teenage Girl, Two Rooms, and Opus.
