Zachary James, Andrew Samonsky, Lynne Wintersteller, Betsy Wolfe Set for NMTC Readings

The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center has announced casting for the final two shows of the 2012 National Music Theater Conference (NMTC), which continues through July 13.

As previously reported, during the course of the conference, each of the four musical theater pieces being developed undergo the O’Neill’s signature development process, employing acclaimed professional actors, directors, and music directors in an intensive series of rehearsals, discussions, and public readings.

A Good Man, featuring book and lyrics by Philip S. Goodman and music by Ray Leslee, will receive public staged readings on June 30, July 1, 3, and 6. The cast will feature Terence Archie, Gilbert L. Bailey II, Ta’rea Campbell, Tina Fabrique, Antwuan Holley, Anastasia McClesky, Jacob Ming-Trent, Andrew Samonsky, Don Lee Sparks, and Dennis Stowe.

The ToyMaker with book, lyrics, and music by Bryan Putnam, will receive public staged readings on July 7, 8, 11, and 13. The cast will feature Joan Barber, Joe Cassidy, Merwin Goldsmith, Olli Haaskivi, Zachary James, Lucia Roderique, Alison Walla, Lynne Wintersteller, and Betsy Wolfe.
