Tovah Feldshuh, Jason Graae, Sharon McNight, Faith Prince, Julie Wilson, et al. Set for Yale’s Cabaret Conference

The performance schedule for The International Cabaret Conference at Yale University has been announced. Public concerts will be offered July 24-31 at the Iseman Theater at the Yale School of Drama/Yale Repertory Theater.

The series will open with Fabulous Cabaret, Fabulous Comedy!. In this double-bill, Julie Wilson will perform Julie Wilson in Concert and four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh will perform Tovah! Still Out of Her Mind.

Cabaret Stars in Concert – Our Illustrious Faculty will follow on July 25 and will feature performances by Feldshuh and Wilson, along with Tex Arnold, Mark Burnell, Jason Graae, Carol Hall, George Hall, Shelly Markham, Laurel Massé, Sally Mayes, Sharon McNight, Pamela Myers, Faith Prince, Erv Raible, Alex Rybeck, Pam Tate, and Paul Trueblood.

During the second week of the conference, an additional two double -bills will be offered: Graae’s A Funny Thing Happened on the Way! and McNight’s The First Thirty Years: From Moose Hall to Carnegie Hall (July 29); and Mayes’ Sally Mayes in Concert and Prince’s Total Faith (July 30). The final concert will be Cabaret Stars of Tomorrow, featuring performances by students from the Cabaret Conference at Yale University.

The conference is an internationally focused, nine-day teaching program that offers an intensive look at the art of cabaret performance technique, and trains professionals for the live entertainment industry. This year, thirty-eight students from across the country, and around the world will participate in the program.
