Blythe Danner, Jonathan Groff, Betty Gilpin, and Andrew Grusetskie starred in a script-in-hand reading of Leonard Gershe's Butterflies Are Free, which was held at the Westport Country Playhouse, on Monday, June 7. Mark Shanahan directed the reading, which was hosted by Keir Dullea.

WCP originally staged Butterflies Are Free 40 seasons ago, starring Danner and Dullea. The comedy transferred to Broadway, where it ran over three years, earning Danner a Tony Award.
