James Snyder, Teal Wicks to Star in Goodspeed Musicals’ Carousel

James Snyder and Teal Wicks will star as Billy Bigelow and Julie Jordan, respectively, in Goodspeed Musicals’ production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel, running July 13-September 23 at Goodspeed Opera House.

They will be joined by Ronn Carroll (Starkeeper), Jenn Gambatese (Carrie Pipperidge), Anne Kanengeiser (Nettie Fowler), Jeff Kready (Enoch Snow), Deanne Lorette (Mrs. Mullin), Tally Sessions (Jigger), and a company that includes Jessica Bishop, Beth Crandall, Belle Doraz, Jennifer Evans, Eloise Kropp, Edward Lawrence, Leisa Mather, Jonathan Rayson, Sam Rodgers, Michael Scirrotto, Jet Thomason, Travis Waldschmidt, Aaron Young, Maria Briggs, and Andrew Scott Holmes.

Rob Ruggiero directs the musical, which is based on Ferenc Molnar’s Liliom, as adapted by Benjamin F. Glazer. The production is choreographed by Parker Esse. The design team includes Michael Schweikardt (scenic design), Alejo Vietti (costume design), John Lasiter (lighting design), Jay Hilton (sound design), Michael O’Flaherty (musical director), F. Wade Russo (assistant musical director), and Dan DeLange (orchestrations).
