Graae, Stout, Vroman, et al. to Join Shirley Jones and Patrick Cassidy in Bushnell’s The Music Man

Full casting has been announced for the staged concert version of Meredith Willson’s The Music Man at Hartford’s Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, April 22-27. The concert will be directed by Philip Wm. McKinley.

As previously announced, Patrick Cassidy will play Harold Hill, and his mother, Oscar winner Shirley Jones — who played Marian in the film version of The Music Man — will play Mrs. Paroo. The principal cast will also include Lisa Vroman as Marian Paroo, Jason Graae as Marcellus Washburn, Mary Stout as Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn, David Coffee as Mayor Shinn, Tim Hausmann as Tommy Djilas, and Bradley Benjamin as Zanetta Shinn.

The cast will also feature Andrew Shipman, Abigail McMillan, Florence Sturgeon of Simsbury, Thomas Scott Beebe of Andover, Christopher Campochiaro, Grace Gentile, Alisha Kapur, Laura Spineti, Shell Bauman, Adam Cates, Kym Chambers, Ben Franklin, Eric Sean Fogel, Bob Freschi, Tracy Funke, Grace Gentile, Katie Warner Johnson, Mary Jo McConnell, Hallie Metcalf, Candy Olsen, Joseph Dellger, Kilty Reidy, Ric Ryder, Joseph Torello, and Yvette Tucker. Students from the Hartt School Musical Theatre Division and area high school marching bands complete the cast.

The show will feature choreography by Peggy Hickey, set design by Ray Klausen, and lighting by Kirk Bookman.
