Dolly Parton to Join Kenny Rogers for The First 50 Years Concert

Country music superstar and 9 to 5 composer Dolly Parton will take part in Kenny Rogers: The First 50 Years, a star-studded concert to take place on Saturday, April 10 at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods. The show will be filmed for use in a television special.

Rogers and Parton will also be joined by Lionel Richie, Alison Kraus, Wynonna, The Oak Ridge Boys, and other artists to be named later. Monty Powell will be the musical director.

Parton and Rogers sang together on “Islands in the Stream,” which remains the top-selling duet of all time. Rogers has won three Grammy Awards and sold over 125 albums.
