Annalee Jefferies will star in the solo stage adaptation of Joan Didion's The Year of Magical Thinking to play TheaterWorks in Hartford, Connecticut April 17-May 24, with an opening set for April 24. Steve Campo will direct.

Based on Didion's bestselling memoir of the same name, the piece centers around the year when Didion abruptly lost her husband, Hartford native John Dunne, and their beloved daughter Quintana Roo. The production replaces the previously announced Speech & Debate, which will now be presented June 12-July 26, 2009.
