Jane Welch will replace the previously announced Michael Learned in a reading of Shirley Jackson's The Possibility of Evil, as part of Stories On Stage's Teetering on the Edge reading event at the Denver Performing Arts Complex, on October 25, with show times at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Learned withdrew, according to a press statement, "due to an unexpected personal emergency."

As previously announced, Tony nominee Kathleen Chalfant will read David Schickler's In Black, Robert Gossett will read Silver Bullet by James Alan McPherson, and Candy Brown will read Nora Ephron's I Hate My Purse.
