The Civilians will return to Colorado Springs with the show that they developed there, This Beautiful City, performing at the South Theater on the Colorado College campus, December 3-5. All performances are free and will be followed by post-show talkbacks with performers and members of the community.

This Beautiful City is a play with music, created from interviews that explores the Evangelical movement and its unofficial U.S. capital, Colorado Springs. The Civilians' project looks at the area as a microcosm of issues facing the country as a whole.

The piece, written by Steven Cosson and Jim Lewis, is directed by Cosson and has music by Michael Friedman. The company features Emily Ackerman, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Matt Dellapina, Brad Heberlee, Robbie Collier Sublett, and Alison Weller.
