Sandy Duncan, Autumn Hurlbert, Laurence Lau, et al. to Star in Theatre Aspen’s Becky’s New Car

Tony Award nominee Sandy Duncan will star in Theatre Aspen’s production of Becky’s New Car, written by Steven Dietz. Kate Powers will direct the play in the brand new Hurst Theatre in Rio Grande Park, June 22-July 23.

The play is a loopy romantic comedy that offers a story about a woman juggling, love, life and the pursuit of happiness.

The show also stars Duncan’s son, Jeffrey Corriea, along with Laurence Lau, Heather Lee, Autumn Hurlbert, David Ledingham, and Ted Pejovich.

The production will feature set design by Reuben Lucas, costume designs by Kevin Brainerd, lighting design by Charles MacLeod, sound design by David Thomas, with additional designs by Acme Sound Partners.

Duncan received Tony Award nominations for her roles in The Boyfriend, Canterbury Tales, and Peter Pan. Her television credits include The Sandy Duncan Show, The Hogan Family, and Roots.
