Works by Kenny Finkle, Willy Holtzman, Jordan Harrison, et al. Featured in Perry-Mansfield New Works Festival

The lineup for the Perry-Mansfield 2010 New Works Festival, to run June 18-20 in Steamboat Springs, CO has been announced. Over the course of the festival, four new plays will be presented in staged readings.

Among the selections are Kenny Finkle’s I Don’t Want To Talk About It, directed by Christian Parker (June 18); Willy Holtzman’s The Morini Strad, directed by Casey Childs (June 19, 1pm); Julie Marie Myatt’s Flooded, directed by Jessica Thebus (June 19, 4pm); and Jordan Harrison’s Maple and Vine, directed by Anne Kauffman (June 20, 2pm). Additionally, a new dance piece choreographed by Nicholas Villeneuve will be presented at the event, to be offered on June 19 at 8pm.

Each piece is presented in partnership with a non-profit theater and this year the 2010 New Works Festival continues its partnership of Atlantic Theater Company, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Denver Center Theatre Company, and Primary Stages. Full casting will be announced shortly.
