Playhouse Square Center hosts SBC Ameritech CenterFest, a large-scale community open house and performing arts festival free to the public. The event brings together various art mediums under one roof to create an eclectic mix of entertainment and inspiration. Highlights include a performance by the Fred Garbo Inflatable Theater Company (1:00pm and 3:00pm, State Theatre Stage) and a sneak peek into the 2002/2003 Playhouse Square Broadway Series (with performances from The Producers, South Pacific, Stones in His Pockets, 42nd Street, The Full Monty, The Lion King, and Late Night Catechism; 4:00pm, State Theatre Stage.)

The event lasts from 12:00pm-5:00pm. All programs are free, but admittance is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Downloadable tickets are available at www.playhousesquare.com/centerfest.
