WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Local barbershops are communities unto themselves. Its denizens are the storytellers of their time, sharing the joys and troubles life hands them. Together, these colorful stories illustrate a remarkably simple truth: "When you have history, you belong." Cuttin' Up is based on the book by Craig Marberry, who co-wrote Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats.
