WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Set in 1939, Antebellum unfolds against the backdrop of a southern plantation, a German concentration camp, the Atlanta premiere of Gone With The Wind and Berlin cabarets. Two seemingly unrelated stories span time and space to merge into one sweeping romance that challenges race, religion and discrimination on both sides of the Atlantic. Antebellum is a provocative play that resonates with the entwining realities of Nazi cruelty and Hollywood dreams.
