With its exotic Egyptian setting, elaborate choral scenes (Act II's "Triumphal March" among them), and powerful principal performances, Aida has earned its rightful place as one of the most popular operas of all time. Aida was last performed during Cincinnati Opera's 2000 Summer Festival.
