Marriott Theatre

Venue Location and Information
10 Marriott Drive
Lincolnshire, IL 60069
847-634-0200
About This Venue
Known as Drury Lane Theatre North when it debuted in 1975, the Marriott was originally intended as a theater with TV or film celebrities headlining. In 1979, Equity-level musicals became the standard fare. The theater now attracts well over 400,000 patrons each season.
The theater's revivals have received more than 140 Joseph Jefferson nominations. The Marriott usually produces already-successful, but it also takes chances on lesser-known works. GIVE MY REGARDS TO BROADWAY, ANNIE WARBUCKS and HOT MIKADO all got their start here. The Marriott has also presented the American stock premieres of A CHORUS LINE, THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG and THE GOODBYE GIRL.
The Marriott Theatre has the largest subscription base of any suburban theater and is the nation's second-most-subscribed-to entertainment venue.
The Marriott is located on the 168-acre Mariott resort complex in suburban Lincolnshire. This is an 800-seat, theater in the round. The arena stage means that all seats have equally good sightlines. A wet bar serves patrons in the lobby and another adjoins the second-floor theater entrance.
